中文摘要: 近年来长江流域水库化导致中下游泥沙急剧减少,流域与河口环境正发生显著变化。工业化人类活动污染输入增加与水库化的环境效应叠加,给流域脆弱的生态系统带来潜在危胁。本项目拟从通过对长江流域中下游、河口定点站连续观测,在高密度,长时间序列的流域-河口元素含量、元素赋存形态、以及稳定同位素组成及其影响因素综合分析的基础上,研究支流与干流水沙通量关系调整对各支流人类活动重金属输入的浓度、形态及其通量的影响,及其在河口的季节分配规律。探讨流域水利建设、工业化等人类活动对研究区的影响与演变趋势。为长江流域及河口的水资源合理利用,及环境污染控制,促进自然生态的逐步恢复和改善,建立健康、和谐的环境保护体系提供基础科学依据与技术支撑。

英文摘要: In the recent decades, sediment load from the Yangtze River has drastically decreased due to dams construction, resulting in significant environmental changes. Industrialization of Changjiang River basin along with dams construction has imposed potential threaten to endangered environment. This project will engage in observation on middle and low reach of Changjiang River, together with long term monthly observation in the river mouth. Based on analysis of data of high resolution and long time series of riverine/estuarine heavy metal concentration, speciation, and stable isotopic composition, the relation tributary and main stream heavy metal fluxes in response to sediment flux adjustment will be revealed. Furthermore, the seasonal fluctuation of heavy metals concentration, speciation and fluxes will be addressed. Thus, the impact of the construction of water management infrastructure and industrialization and its trend will be discussed. The result will provide foundation on water resources management, and environmental pollution control. And finally, provide science data for a recovery study of nature environment of the Changjiang River, and provide scientific supports for catchment-estuary/delta comprehensive management of the Yangtze River.
