中文摘要: 本项目拟以液晶聚合物为掺杂剂,超高分子量聚乙烯为聚合物基体,结合湿法纺丝和辐照交联的方法制备具有可逆形变的光驱动液晶/超高分子量聚乙烯复合纤维。通过研究复合纤维中液晶聚合物的含量、取向程度和辐照之后的交联密度与光驱动性能之间的关系,探讨其光驱动机理。在此基础上,以复合纤维为基材,通过纺织技术设计制备具有多畴取向的光驱动材料,赋予其多种多样的运动方式和功能。本项目可望为新型光驱动材料的设计、研究与应用提供新的思路,具有重要的科学意义。

英文摘要: In this project, liquid crystal polymer/ultrahigh molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composite fibers, in which liquid crystal polymer acts as the dopant and UHMWPE as the matrix, are prepared by elegant combination of wet spinning and radiation-induced chemical crosslinking. Their reversible photo-driven deformation will be studied upon photo-irradiation. The mechanism will be explored by investigating the relationship between photo-driven performance and the content and orientation of liquid crystal polymer and crosslinked density in composite fibers. Then, photo-driven materials with multi-domain alignment of mesogens are designed and synthesized by textile technology, which should endow divers of exotic movements and novel functions to photo-driven materials composed of composite fibers. Thus, this project is beneficial to providing a new explication for the design fabrication and applications of novel photo-driven materials and of great scientific significance.
