中文摘要: 现代建筑设计基于欧几里德几何学,既取得了很大成就,也受到了一定局限。由于欧氏几何只有整数维,没有分数维,基于它的建筑设计容易忽视分维度和尺度层级分布,易于出现建筑丰度贫瘠而过于简单等问题。分形的建筑设计可以利用简单的方法生成丰富的建筑形态,比较适合于建筑造型设计,以及建筑与环境、经典作品之间的分形比较和借鉴;通过维度计算与尺度层级分布的分析,可以对建筑设计进行较为科学理性的评价,但也存在不如欧氏几何直观可行、操作便利的局限性,因此可以作为现代建筑设计理论的有益补充与完善。运用分形的自相似、尺度层级与对称理论,采用分形图形生成和量化分析的研究方法,探索分形理论对于建筑设计的适用性以及建筑化转换,研究分形的建筑设计原理和方法,以及分形的建筑设计评价。特别针对当前计算机分形设计的复杂性与非建筑实用性,侧重探索简易而可操作的分形建筑构思方法,突出研究的通识可行性。

英文摘要: Modern architectural design based on Euclid's geometry has made great achievement, at the same time has got some restriction. As Euclid's geometry had only integral dimension, no fractional dimension, architectural design grounded on it is easy to ignore fractional dimension and hierarchy of scales, therefore is apt to result architectural form excessively leanness and simpleness. Fractal architectural design may create luxuriant form by simple method, is fit for architecture modeling, and fractal comparison between buildings and environment, classical designs. People can evaluate architectural design scientifically through dimensional calculation and analysis of scale's hierarchy. But it has some shortage which is not as convenience as Euclid's geometry, so fractal architectural design can complete and renew modern architectural theory. Applied fractal theories of self-similarity, scale's hierarchy and symmetry, applicability of fractal theory for architectural design, architectural conversion, theories and methods of fractal architectural design, and fractal evaluation were explored by means of investigative methods of fractal figure creation and quantitative analysis.
