中文摘要: 本项目拟系统地合成一系列不同结构的手性离子液体,然后将所制备的手性离子液体分散到手征性向列相(N*相)液晶中,从而制备N*相液晶/手性离子液体复合材料。研究手性离子液体的分子结构与其在液晶中相容性的关系;研究手性离子液体的结构、旋转扭曲力、导电性、热稳定性和纯度等对其在液晶中的迁移规律及对复合材料中液晶的物理性能的影响;探索手性离子液体对复合体系薄膜的电光性能的影响机理,为开发具有低驱动电压的反射型彩色电子纸用液晶复合材料的制备方法提供实验数据和理论指导。

英文摘要: A series of chiral ionic liquids with different chiral structures will be systematically synthesized, then the chiral nematic (N* phase) liquid crystal/chiral ionic liquid composites will be prepared by dispersing the chiral ionic liquids into N* phase liquid crystal. The relationships between the structure of the chiral ionic liquids and their compatibility in liquid crystals will be investigated; and the effects of the chiral ionic liquids with different structures, helical twisting power, conductivity, thermal stability and purity on the mobility of the chiral ionic liquids in the composites under the electronic field as well as the physical properties of N* phase liquid crystal will be also explored. More importantly, the electrically controllable selective reflection of chiral nematic liquid crystal/chiral ionic liquid composites and the mechanism of electro-optical properties of the composite system will be elucidated, to provide experimental foundation and theoretical guidance for developing the new generation materials used in color electronic paper with low driving voltage, short response time and high stability.
