中文摘要: 化学自组装被认为是21世纪亟待解决的25个重大科学问题中唯一的化学课题。与生物体内的可控性强、精密度高的生物分子自组装相比,化学自组装的可控性还比较差,需要发展新的组装方法;此外,水溶性DNA和蛋白在离子和伴侣蛋白的作用下可以组装成具有复杂结构组装体,然而,目前自组装所用的高分子都是含有两亲性单元的共聚物或均聚物。对于单一亲水性的均聚物,能否在其它的离子或伴侣分子的作用下进行组装,一直是科学界思考的问题。我们提出能否有离子像伴侣蛋白调控蛋白的组装那样,来调控均聚物的自组装。在该项目中,我们利用I-,SCN-和ClO4-等离子作为含杂原子的均聚物中轻微带正电荷的CHn单元的伴侣离子来调控均聚物中CHn单元的亲水性与亲油性,通过离子的浓度、溶液的温度等条件来控制这些离子与CHn单元之间相互作用来调节亲水区与亲油区的比例,从而有效地调控均聚物的自组装。

英文摘要: Self-assembly is believed to be the only chemical issue among 25 major scientific problems to be solved in the 21st century. Compared with precise self-assembly of biological molecular in vivo,chemical self-assembly still has a long way to go. Amphiphilic block polymers with two or more chemically different segments can self-assemble into micelles, vesicles, nanorod, or other morphologies as a result of energetic repulsion effect between hydrophobic component and hydrophilic component. This behavior would not be expected of a common homopolymer with only one component up to now. In this projet, we prepare a series homopolymer via common free radical polymerization. After we introduce ion binding with CHn unit of hopolymer, though this homopolymer has only one component, not only it can self-assemble like a well-defined amphiphilic block copolymer, but also its self-assembly can be easily manipulated via the ions.
