中文摘要: 海南岛全年高温多雨,灌木丛林繁茂,野生动物和节肢动物种类众多,有利于多种自然疫源地性疾病的传播。自然疫源地性疾病是近年来引起新发和再发传染病流行的主要原因,对人口健康、经济发展和社会稳定造成了严重影响。对自然宿主和媒介昆虫病原谱的调查对自然疫源地性疾病及传染病的控制具有重要的意义。然而目前尚未有海南岛立克次体病原谱的系统研究,病毒病原谱的调查尚属空白。本项目拟针对海南岛的病毒和立克次体病原的重要自然宿主和媒介昆虫,于2015年-2017年连续三年在五个代表不同地理景观的典型地区进行中等样本量的采样,利用传统PCR技术、细胞培养分离技术,结合高通量Luminex液相芯片检测技术和高通量基因组测序技术,进行系统的海南岛重要自然宿主和媒介昆虫携带病毒和立克次体病原的调查研究。本项目为新发和再发传染病的预防和控制提供重要的信息资源,对加强海南国际旅游岛的生物安全防护和旅游安全具有重要的现实意义。

英文摘要: Due to the hot and rainy weather throughout the year and the lush bush, there are a lot of species of wild animals and arthropods in Hainan island, facilitating the spread of the natural foci of diseases. Natural foci of diseases are the major causes of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases recently years, having serious impact on the population health, economic development and social stability. The survey of pathogen spectrum in natural hosts and vector insects has important implications for the control of the natural foci of diseases and the emerging infectious diseases. However, there is no systematic survey on the rickettsial pathogen spectrum of Hainan Island, and little investigation of the viral pathogens spectrum has been done. In this project, we plan to do a systematical survey of the rickettsial and viral pathogen spectrum carried by important natural hosts and vector insects. Moderate number of samples of wild animals (bats, rodents and birds) and vector insects (ticks and mosquitos) will be taken in five selected area representing different typical geographical landscape in three consecutive years 2015 -2017. Then traditional PCR technology and cell culture, combined with Luminex high-throughput multi-analyte suspension array and high-throughput genome sequencing technology will be performed on these samples to analyze the existence and species of the pathogens. The project provides important information for the control of the emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and has important practical significance for strengthening the bio-security and tourism safety of Hainan Island.
