中文摘要: 21世纪高维数据建模迅速发展,基于数据的信息计量经济学(Information-Theoretic Econometrics)逐步成为当今计量经济学研究的重要方法。信息计量经济学包含常见的经验似然法,广义矩方法,最大熵方法(Maximum Entropy)等。尽管基于最大熵的方法在传统的计量经济研究中显现出很强的优越性,其在高维信息计量经济学研究仍然处于起步阶段。 本项目将根据研究队伍已经具备的国际领先优势,系统的发展基于最大熵原理的信息计量经济学在高维数据建模中的理论研究,并结合计量理论对经济管理中的实际问题进行应用。本项目的重要性体现在两方面。一方面着重于信息计量理论的研究,为应用经济学者提供高维数据建模,估计和检验的可靠计量工具。另一方面是将计量理论应用到实证分析,利用中国的数据为我国经济中的实际问题的研究作出贡献。

英文摘要: Modeling High Dimensional data has achieved significant progress in the 21st centuary, while data-based information-theoretic Econometrics has become the important method in modern econometric research. Information-theoretic Econometrics include the popular Empirical Likelihood method, the Generalized Method of Moment, the Maximum Entropy method and so on. The inference method based on Maximum Entropy Principle has not gained supposed development in the past decade, even though it has shown significant superority in solving the problems in the classical Econometrics research. This project will systematically develop the theory and practice of the maximum entropy based Information-theoretic Econometrics in the setting of high dimensional data, with the world-wide research advantage of our team. The project also includes the application of the theoretical results to the real world problems in economics and management. The importance of the projects lies mainly in two aspects. On the one hand, the project emphasizes the theoretical studies that provid the liable basis for the applied researchers in the modeling, estimation and testing when confronted with high dimensional data.
