中文摘要: 集成光学芯片具有尺寸小、可扩展、稳定和能耗低的特点,可以被用于光学量子信息处理和精密测量。从实际出发,集成光学芯片实验需要宽带的,加工容错高,兼容不同材料的器件设计。本项目基于光在波导的传播演化与量子态的演化的类比,研究单根波导的模式性质,以及多波导间的耦合模式理论。借助绝热量子演化的概念,提出一类新的单波导器件,实现单波导内的多模模式转换、相位调制。给出多模波导之间的耦合的一般性理论,实现任意波导之间的模式转换的幺正操作。人工构造环境与目标波导的耦合系统,实现对目标波导内能量传输的控制。

英文摘要: Photonic integrated circuits are compact, scalable, table and low consumption, can be applied for optical quantum information processing and quantum metrology. For practical experiments, the photonic integrated circuits require the devices be broadband, large fabrication tolerance and compatible with various materials. This project is based on the analogue between the light propagating in the waveguide and the evolution of quantum states, study the mode properties of single waveguide and the coupled mode theory for multiple multimode waveguide. As analogue to the quantum adiabatic evolution, propose a new kind of waveguide devices for mode conversion and phase shifter. Study the theory of the coupled mode theory for arbitrary mode conversion as arbitrary unitary operation. Also realize the controlling of energy transfer in the waveguide by artificial structured environment.
