英文摘要: The project proposed here will involve the investigation and explore of a new kind of high performance composite electrode materials for electrochemical capacitor based on the combination of novel two dimensional carbon nanostructure-graphene nanosheets with Co-Al layered double hydroxides (LDHs) nanosheets. Firstly, the graphene nanosheets will be prepared by controlled chemical reduction method in solution from commercially available graphite and graphite oxide. And then, the graphene nanosheets are designed as the building blocks to combine with Co-Al LDHs nanosheets by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) and layer-by-layer (LBL) assembled techniques, respectively. The influence of preparation method and conditions on the structure, constitution, specific energy density and cycle life of the composite electrodes will be investigated. The mechanism of graphene nanosheets with a large surface area, high conductivity in the composites will also be demonstrated. The completion of this project would lay the foundation for further utilizing the graphene nanosheets combined with other electrode materials in electrochemical capacitor.
