中文摘要: 在今天的纳米科技中,最基本、最急迫的问题之一就是热传输。深入理解纳米材料特殊的热传导性能,对其在可再生能源和电子科技中的应用至关重要。而面对实验学科的快速发展和未经解释的测量结果的迅速积累,与对电传输性能的研究相比,理论界对纳米尺度热传输的研究仍处于一个相当不成熟的阶段,这已成为新型纳米材料在多个领域发展的瓶颈问题。本项目拟汇集申请人前期研究工作中建立的多种模型和数值手段,着眼当前热传输领域对新型纳米材料的理论研究空白,以现今实验研究中热门的复合纳米线和纳米粉体化合物烧结材料为对象,进行大范围的数值估算并通过多尺度研究深入揭示这些材料的热传导特性,填补领域空白并为正在进行的前沿科学实验研究提供有力的理论支持和引导。

英文摘要: One of the most fundamental and urgent problems in today's nanoscience and nanotechnology is that of thermal transport. It is particularly important to well understand nanomaterials' thermal transport properties for their applications in nanoelectronics and renewable energy technology. Despite its importance, however, the problem of heat flow at the nanoscale is still much less understood than that of pure electronic flow. This project will concentrate on nanowires with complex atomic structures and nanopowder semiconducting sintered compounds,and is expected to answer a wealth of currently not well understood aspects of nanoscale thermal transport experimental measurements. The results of the present project will be applicable to technologically relevant problems and provide guidelines to experiments in the field.
