Sauropus rostratus Miq.is a Zhuang medicine in folk of Guangxi province,This herb has efficacies of moistening lung to stop coughing and treating bronchitis and upper respiratory tract infection. Preview research from this project group have showed that the anti-inflammatory action was observed.Based on the preview research on the quality evaluation ,in this study , the examination items will be researched, technologies and methods such as chemistry of Chinese materia medica, pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine, serum pharmacochemistry and LC-DAD-MS analysing are used to establish HPLC chemical fingerprint and serum fingerprint, which are used as chemical data;the effect data are based on the anti-inflammatory and cough-relieving mechanism research.Based on the chemical data and effect data ,spectrum-effect relationship are established by grey incidence degree method .With the spectrum-effect relationship, the chemical data and the effect data, the quality evaluation model of Sauropus changianus S.Y.Hu are established by matter-element analysis method. The model is stable, accurate ,simple and accorded with traditional chinese medicine theory, which could showed the effect and quality grade of Sauropus rostratus Miq..The project could provied technical support and new thought for the development and utilization of Sauropus rostratus Miq. ,as well as for the quality evaluation of the traditional chinese medicine.
