中文摘要: 反馈是控制论中最根本的概念,是一条基本的系统学原理,也是人类和机器智能中普遍存在的重要机制。在控制论中,反馈的主要目的是对付系统中的不确定性,反馈的有效利用常常对工程技术领域产生重大影响。因此,定量研究反馈机制对付不确定性的最大能力和局限具有重大的科学和实际意义。然而,由于理论研究的难度,现有控制理论对定量认识不确定系统反馈机制的最大能力知之甚少。本项目主要进行以下两方面的研究:一是研究随机框架下几类基本离散时间参数模型的反馈能力问题。虽然确定性框架下反馈能力的研究取得一些重要进展,但随机框架下由于问题特有的难度,其研究一直驻足不前。我们将期望突破这一瓶颈。二是研究灵敏度函数对参数系统不确定性的影响,以建立起灵敏度函数与反馈能力之间的联系,并通过理论分析,探讨不确定系统中刻画反馈机制最大能力与局限的关键因素。

英文摘要: Feedback is a fundamental concept in control theory. It is ubiquitous, and exists in almost all goal-directed behavioues. Its primary objective is to reduce the internal and external uncertainties in complex systems. It is well known that efficient utilization of feedback usually has a significant impact on the fields of engineering technology. Thus, a fundamental problem in adaptive control is to understand the maximum capability and limitations of feedback. However, only a few areas of control theory can shed some light. This project focuses on two objectives. First, we will investigate the feedback capapbility for some basic class of discrete-time parameterized systems in a stochastic framework. Although some progress has been achieved in the deterministic framework, the parallel theory in stochastic framework still has not yet been established due to the difficulties in analyses, which is the main intended breakthrough in this project. Second, we will study the effect of sensitivity function on parameterized uncertain systems in order to establish the relationship between the sensitivity function and feedback capability. Then, we could explore the key factors in characerizing the maximum capability and limitations of feedback in uncertain systems.
