The wild apricot in Xinjiang exhibits resisting drought and cold environment, protecting against wind, fixing sand, and helping check runoff. Wild apricots have been planted massively in Xinjiang, and the area has been more than 200,000 Mu. As such, to development wild apricots resource in Xinjiang will be of important significance to local economic growth. With the changes of modern lifestyles and eating habits, the fatty metabolic disorder diseases are increasing day by day. Based on our previous study on this project, we will seperate and purify organic acids from wild apricots in Xinjiang, and carry out the following researchs: ①To investigate the effects on improving fatty metabolism of organic acids from wild apricots in animals. ②Using RT-PCR, fluorescent quantitation PCR, and immunohistochemistry techniques to observe the effects of organic acids from wild apricots on gene and protein expression of receptor relevant to fatty acid metabolic in animal liver cells. To explore the influence of organic acid from wild apricots on the animal fat metabolic at the molecular levels. ③The effect of organic acids on macrophage in vivo and in vitro will be observed. To investigate the influence of organic acids from wild apricots on the animal fat metabolic at the cellular level. In this study, improving fatty metabolism effects and mechanism of the organic acids from wild apricot in Xinjiang will be investigated, resulting in providing references for further processing wild apricots, and development them for functional foods materials to improve lipid metabolic disorder.
