中文摘要: 智能交通系统(ITS),建立在网络化的信息通信技术基础之上,被认为是改善世界性交通拥堵等难题的希望所在。但现有车用通信技术(VANETs)的相关研究,大都借鉴自传统互联网及无线自组织网络等相关成果,这些技术以提供通信为目标,而不是以改善交通为目的,因而无法满足未来智能交通发展的需要。本项目首次从智能交通与生物群集行为的相似性出发提出了VANETs动态演化模型,它能描述车辆群体移动行为与通信之间的动态互动过程。通过分析车辆的微观行驶行为与宏观交通状态的关系,提出了基于车辆自由度干预的交通诱导思路,能协助交通监管部门实现诱导交通,减少拥堵,提高交通效率。由于VANETs动态演化模型从机制上融合了交通行驶模型、通信模型及群集演化模型,反映了智能交通的核心特征,因而本项目相关结果有望为智能交通相关研究,如交通诱导、通信优化、仿真建模等提供全新的理论视角和技术研究手段。

英文摘要: Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), which are based on networked information and communication technologies, have been considered to be the hope for resolving the problems caused by traffic congestion that has been increasing worldwide. The existing vehicle communication technologies ,i.e., Vehicle Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs), are usually researched by extending the related results of the traditional Internet and mobile ad hoc networks(MANETs). However, the goal of these technologies is to establish communication, rather than improve traffic, so these current technologies cannot meet the needs of the future development of ITS. Based on the similarity between the intelligent transportation and the biological collective behaviors, this project proposes a dynamic evolution model for VANETs , which can describe the dynamic interaction process between the group movement behaviors of vehicles and communications. By analyzing the relationship between the microscopic driving behaviors of vehicles and the macroscopic state of the whole traffic, the project also proposes a traffic guidance approach based on the intervention over vehicles' degrees of freedom, which can assist traffic regulators to guide the traffic, reduce congestion and improve transport efficiency.
