中文摘要: 现代天线系统的设计通常需要将天线罩、载体平台等环境因素对天线本身辐射性能的影响考虑在内。而且,在军事应用中,作为强散射源的天线-天线罩系统对载体平台雷达散射截面特性的改变亦需要精确评估。所以,实现复杂载体平台上天线-天线罩系统电磁特性的一体化分析和设计就显得十分重要。从计算电磁学的角度来看,这类目标具有多尺度、复合结构、电大尺寸的显著特征。然而,到目前为止国内外有关多尺度结构电磁特性的研究还多限于纯导体或介质目标电磁散射的分析。因此,开展复杂平台上天线-天线罩系统这类典型多尺度复合结构的电磁散射尤其是辐射特性的一体化数值仿真技术的研究不仅有重要的学术意义,而且具有明显的工程应用价值。本项目试图建立基于混合积分方程的多尺度数值模型,结合现代电磁快速算法、高频近似方法以及并行计算技术,发展一套有效的并行混合算法,以满足复杂载体平台上天线-天线罩系统电磁特性精确和高效仿真分析的需求。

英文摘要: Design of modern antenna systems usually requires that the effects of the radome and host platform on the electromagnetic (EM) radiation properties of the antennas should be taken into account in design procedure. Meanwhile, as a strong scattering source, the presence of antenna-radome structures can also significantly increase radar cross section of a specific platform. Apparently, accurate evaluation of these effects is of popular interests in both military and industrial sectors. Therefore, it is extremely important to develop efficient integrated numerical analysis methodologies in order to study the EM scattering and radiation properties of the complicated platform mounted antenna-radome system as a whole. From the computational electromagnetics (CEM) point of view, these complicated systems can be categorized as the multi-scale, composite, and electrically large structures. At present, most existing researches on the multi-scale problems are primarily focused on the analysis of EM scattering of perfectly electric conductors or purely dielectric objects. As a consequence, characterization of the EM scattering, especially the EM radiation of antenna-radome systems mounted on multi-scale platforms through integrated numerical simulation is not only a challenging problem in the CEM field, but also can find a wide range of applications in electronic engineerings. This project aims to develop an efficient multi-scale numerical model that is based on the hybrid integral equations, being in conjunction with the advanced fast solvers in CEM, the high-frequency approximation methods, and the parallel computing techniques, in order to meet the requirements of accurate prediction of the EM characteristics of the antenna-radome systems on complicated multi-scale platforms.
