中文摘要: 时分波分复用无源光接入网可支持40Gb/s传输速率,已成为学术界的研究热点。由于其带宽灵活性、波长灵活性,可支持多用户接入,需优化使用有限的网络资源,在提高传输速率的同时降低网络的能耗。单一使用针对时分复用无源光网络的节能技术已无法保证最优的节能效果。因此,在灵活时分波分复用无源光网络中进行节能机制的研究具有重要意义。本项目主要研究如何将基于带宽和基于波长的节能方式有效耦合,高效利用波长切换、唤醒开销等影响节能效率的因素,使其促进二维节能方式的耦合,在可行域内选择最佳节能方式。本课题属于前沿探索性的应用基础研究,所涉及的关键问题是当前学术界的新问题,研究内容包括:基于波长可调的辅助图模型构建、基于波长优化的节能机制研究、基于波长和带宽耦合优化的节能机制研究。

英文摘要: Time- and Wavelength-Division Multiplexed Passive Access Network (TWDM-PON) can support 40Gb/s transmission rate, which has become a hot research topic. Due to the bandwidth flexibility, wavelength flexibility, providing multiple user’s access, it is imperative to optimize network resources meanwhile to improve the transmission rate meanwhile reducing network energy consumption. Single energy-saving technology oriented to TDM-PON may not be able to assure the optimal energy efficiency. Therefore, it is very meaningful to study the energy-saving scheme in flexible TWDM-PON. This project mainly studies how to effectively couple the energy-saving methods that based on bandwidth and wavelength, respectively, and use the factors which influence energy efficiency, such as wavelength switch and wakeup overhead, and so on, to facilitate the coupling of two-dimension energy-saving methods and choose the optimal energy-saving method at feasible zone. This project belongs to leading-edge application research, and the key problems involved are the newly emerging problems in the literature. The research contents include: establishment of wavelength tunable based graph, research on wavelength optimization based energy-saving schemes, and research on energy-saving schemes that is based on coupling optimization of wavelength and bandwidth.
