中文摘要: 以视频流为典型代表的新兴业务在移动网络中的应用促使了网络流量呈现爆发式增长。为了应对流量增长带来的挑战,业界提出了分层异构网络的解决方案,以提升系统容量,从而满足数据增长的容量需求。在分层异构网络中,面向视频流的绿色节能通信是需要研究的核心问题之一。通过在分层异构网络中研究面向视频流的绿色节能通信,优化视频流在网络中的传输效率,不仅可以保证视频流的传输质量,提升用户服务质量体验,而且可以降低因视频流传输造成的能源消耗而带来的网络运营成本,具有重要的理论意义和应用前景。本课题拟分别考虑分层异构网络基站未部署缓存与部署缓存两种网络架构场景,分别从单个小区优化与全网协作优化角度开展基于视频流的能量高效自适应传输、能量高效资源分配与调度,以及面向视频流的能量高效缓存与调度等研究,从而达到实现分层异构网络面向视频流的绿色节能通信的目的。

英文摘要: The application of new services in mobile network, especially the video streaming, makes the network traffic explosive growth. In order to face the challenge brought by the traffic growth, the tiered heterogeneous network has been proposed, which can greatly enhance system capacity to meet the requirements of traffic growth. In heterogeneous networks, one of the most important issue is to solve the problem of green communication for video streaming. By studying green communications for video streaming in heterogeneous networks, optimizing the transmission efficiency of video streaming in the network, it not only can guarantee the transmission quality of the video streaming to enhance the users’ quality of experience, but also can reduce the network Operating Expense (OPEX) due to energy consumption caused by video streaming transmission, which has the significant value of theoretical study and widely application prospects. In this project, we aim to consider two network architectures with and without caching in base stations in heterogeneous network, respectively. Then from a single cell optimization perspective and the whole network optimization perspective, the problem of energy efficient adaptive video streaming transmission, energy efficient resource allocation and scheduling, and energy efficient caching and scheduling are studied to realize the green communication for video streaming.
