中文摘要: 在生物专业本科的种群遗传学学习中,学习者理解其中的动态过程存在困难,具体表现为难以从静态的公式、文本及图表中理解到种群逐代繁殖过程中等位基因频率的变化规律以及各种参数的影响。现有的辅助学习方法均针对如何由已知的种群遗传学规律和参数得到指定变量的变化结果,忽略了向学习者表达本质原因及动态变化的过程,对协同学习未能提供支持。针对这些问题,本课题以多点触摸桌面为平台,将种群遗传学中的客观规律通过支持多名学习者协同交互的动态仿真过程呈现出来,以最终达到增强学习者认知水平的目的。课题研究内容包括:1)种群遗传学中规则所表达的数学模型研究;2)种群遗传学数学模型所表达的动态过程的可视化仿真方法研究;3)针对仿真过程的多用户协同交互设计。本课题通过分析种群遗传学中客观规律所表达的数学模型,研究相应的多人协同交互式可视化方法,能够建立学习者对种群遗传学的学习认知效果的科学依据,目标明确,预期效果显著。

英文摘要: In the college-level study of Population Genetics, students have difficulty to comprehend the dynamic changes during the reproduction process. Specifically, from the static equations, texts, figures and tables, they have difficulty to understand how allele frequency changes and the reason. Existing researches mainly focused on how to derive the allele frequency changes from known principles, while ignoring why and how the frequency changes during the time. Collaborative learning was not supported by any existing researches. To address these issues, we choose multi-touch tabletop as the collaborative study space, visualizing the dynamic reproduction process to collaborative- and interactive-input supported simulation. There are three sub researches in this proposal, 1) extracting the mathematical model of in the population genetics principles, 2) dynamic visualization of the mathematical model, 3) interaction design for collaborative learning of visualized population genetics simulation. This research will analyze the underlying mathematical model in the principles, design collaborative learning patterns, investigate how students could benefit from our research results and finally provide scientific basis for achieving correct cognition of population genetics.
