中文摘要: 岛质效应(IME)是指位于寡营养盐海域的岛礁周边具有高初级生产力的现象。IME研究对于促进热带渔业可持续发展和减轻珊瑚礁白化压力具有重要意义。IME研究在我国南海鲜有发表,本课题拟选取西沙群岛及典型岛礁为研究对象,基于多源卫星遥感和现场综合观测,发展西沙群岛IME多源遥感识别方法,分析IME在不同时间尺度上的空间分布特征,探讨影响IME的关键动力因子及内在机制。本课题的研究可为多源遥感技术在岛礁海域的生态环境动力耦合研究提供应用示范。

英文摘要: Island mass effect (IME) refers to localized increases of primary production associated with the presence of islands in some oligotrophic oceanic regions. Research on IME phenomenon is of great importance in promoting sustainable fishing in tropical ocean and reducing the pressure of coral reef bleaching. No published papers concentrated on IME in the South China Sea are recorded. This project plans conduct the following tasks by using multi-source remote sensing data and field surveys around the Paracel Islands and typical reef: firstly, develop IME recognition method basing on multi-source remote sensing data; secondly, analyze IME spatial characteristics in different temporal scale, finally, discuss the key dynamic factors and internal mechanism on IME. The research is a demonstration case to apply multi-source remote sensing technology on ecological environment dynamic coupling research for island waters.
