中文摘要: 可计算RFID标签(Computational RFID, CRFID)是一项新兴的RFID技术,CRFID标签无需电源,能兼容现有的EPC Global C1G2标准,比普通被动式标签有计算和感知能力,能进行较为复杂的计算和环境感知,尤其符合物联网对计算和感知的要求,具有极其广泛的应用前景。但是,现在的CRFID标签由于其能量效率低下的原因,限制了其通信距离、计算和感知能力,尚不能应用在实际场景中。本课题系统性的研究了CRFID标签能量效率低下的原因,采用对能量开源节流的方法来提高标签能量采集和利用效率,并率先提出全新的高效能量采集和事件驱动节能架构的研究思路。同时,为适应全新的硬件设计,本课题还从软件层面研究能量高效的标签固件,及标签内程序实时控制和无线重编程的方法,为解决CRFID能量问题提供了全面系统的解决方案和研究思路,并对CRFID标签技术的成熟和实际应用提供了有力支持。

英文摘要: As a promising technology, computational RFID, CRFID, is a kind of passive tag compliant with current EPC Global C1G2 standard. Comparing with current passive tags, CRFID tags have much powerful capabilities on computation and sensing, which are exactly suitable for applications in Internet of Things. Existing CRFID tags, however, cannot be directly applied in real applications as the inefficiency of energy restricts the communication range, computation and sensing capabilities. In this project, we systematically investigate the issue of energy inefficiency on CRFID tags, and propose a novel methodology to significantly improve the energy efficiency, i.e. Harvest More and Save More Energy. Furthermore, we accordingly introduce an innovative hardware design as well as event-driven architecture for highly efficient energy harvesting and saving, respectively. Meanwhile, we reconstruct the firmware of CRFID tags to fulfill requirements of newly proposed hardware design, and further promote the efficiency of energy availability from the aspect of software. To enhance the flexibility of CRFID applications, we also study real-time program control and wireless re-programming on CRFIDs. Through this project, we think that a comprehensive new clue may be nominated to solve the energy issue on CRFIDs, which may solidly fund its future evolving and use.
