中文摘要: 分布式多天线传输是未来无线通信的研究热点之一。然而,随着天线数量的增长,分布式系统的空域信道维度激增,系统设计复杂度非常高。而空间调制是近年来一种新型多天线传输技术,该技术在每个时隙仅激活少数发射天线,具有较低的实现复杂度,适合大规模的分布式多天线传输。 本项目将研究基于空间调制的分布式传输理论和方法。首先,研究分布式空间调制中多参数联合估计问题,寻求谱效优化的导频配置方式,并探索分布式空间调制系统性能对参数估计误差的敏感度,获取估计误差下的系统性能理论限;其次,提出分布式空间调制的软信息迭代接收机,突破非理想估计条件下的近最大似然信号检测技术;最后,基于空间信息论,设计高效的分布式空间调制链路自适应准则,优化天线选择、功率控制、比特分配等自适应策略。 本项目的研究可以完善分布式传输系统中基于空间调制的传输理论,并有望应用于下一代无线通信,具有重要的理论及经济价值。

英文摘要: Distributed multiple-antenna transmission technique is one of the hot research topics in future wireless communications. However, with the increase of the transceiver antenna number, the number of spatial channels increases rapidly, which will introduce heavy complexity in system design. Spatial modulation (SM) is a recently proposed novel multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission technique. In each time slot, only a few transmit antennas are active for signal transmission, which introduces lower implement complexity and is facilitate for massive distributed multiple-antenna transmission design. Therefore, this project will develop spatial modulation based distributed transmission theory and methods. Firstly, we will solve the problem of multiple-parameter joint estimation in distributed SM-MIMO, search for the pilot configuration way with improved spectrum efficiency. And we'll analyze the relationship between estimation error and system performance, and achieve the performance bound with estimation errors. Secondly, we will develop soft information based iterative receiver techniques for distributed SM-MIMO and propose near maximum likelihood detection techniques on the condition of non-ideal channel estimation. Lastly, based on spatial information theory, we will design efficient link adaptation optimization rules for distributed SM-MIMO and improve traditional link adaptation techniques including transceiver antenna selection, power control and adaptive modulation, etc. The research results of this project can improve the transmission theory of novel SM-MIMO in distributed transmission systems, so the research is with important theoretical and economical values for applying to the next generation wireless communications.
