中文摘要: 目前设计复杂超分子纳米结构仍然是化学和材料科学领域的一个巨大挑战。人们从自然界生命体获得设计先进材料的启发,以结构,化学性质多样化的氨基酸或者多肽为基础单元,用超分子自组装的方法构建出功能性纳米材料。在基于氨基酸或者多肽的自组装研究中, 研究人员常把萘二酰亚胺(以下简称NDI)作为疏水性功能基团引入到氨基酸或者多肽链的氨基端,自组装形成螺旋纳米管、纳米空心球,及纳米纤维等结构。目前对如何合理设计NDI小分子更易于自组装,尚不清晰,并且对于NDI衍生物自组装形成纳米结构的机理尚不明了。本课题拟构建一系列基于氨基酸和三肽NDI两亲性分子,在溶液中自组装成各种纳米超分子结构。并通过等活性键模型来理解NDI纳米超分子结构的形成机理,定量理解自组装体系的热力学特征。

英文摘要: Currently, the design of complex supramolecular nano-structure is still a great challenge in chemistry and material science. Scientists have designed and preparation new materials inspired by the nature itself. We have synthesized functional nanomaterials based on the self assembly of various of amino acids or peptides. Naphthalene diimide (hereinafter referred to as NDI) are always introduced to amino terminus of amino acid or a peptide as hydrophobic functional group, leading to an amphiphile molecule. These amphiphiles can self assembly into helical nanotubes and hollow nanospheres, and nano-fibers. We still not really understand how to design the suitable NDI molecules which is more easy self-assembly. Also we still not clarify the mechanism of NDI self-assembly process. The target of this project is to design and synthesize a series of amino acid or short peptide tagged NDI amphiphiles. Then we prepare various of supermolecular nano-structures in solution based on these amphiphilic molecules. We also explore to study the mechanism of the self-assembly process and quantitative study of the thermodynamic feartures of these supramolecular structures based on isodesmic model.
