中文摘要: 磁铁是加速器中重要的基本部件之一,磁铁磁场性能的好坏直接影响着束流性能和质量,而对磁场特性的掌握是保证磁铁质量的前提条件。快循环励磁磁铁是一种新型磁铁,与直流励磁磁铁相比,呈现出新的特性,主要是因为交流励磁在铁芯内产生涡流,引起磁铁发热,也导致磁铁气隙内磁场延迟,空间磁场分布发生改变等。这些特性与磁铁气隙内的磁场质量密切相关。而我们对这类磁铁还缺乏足够的认识,在理论上需要更深入地研究。瞬态电磁场计算方法能模拟出快循环励磁磁铁在任意时刻的工作状态,是全面掌握这类磁铁的有效手段,如何更好地利用这种方法对交变励磁磁铁进行模拟值得研究和探索。本项目拟针对快循环励磁磁铁的工作原理进行剖析,找出供电电源与磁铁电感之间的物理关联,然后,对瞬态电磁场计算方法进行研究和论证,最后,对快循环励磁磁铁进行模拟计算,做一系列动态磁场特性的研究,动态磁场特性包括:磁场的空间特性、时间特性、电感特性和磁铁的发热问题。

英文摘要: Magnets are the important part of the accelerator. The performance of the magnetic field have a direct influence on the property and quality of the beam, and the grasp of the magnetic field property is the first premise to ensure the quality of these magnets. Comparison with the magnets excited by the direct current,the rapid cycling excited magnets,as a new type of magnets,appear new properties,which has a close relation with the magnetic field quality. Because of the excitation of the alterating current the eddy current will be produced in the core of the magnets and the magnetic field in the air gap of these magnets will be delayed, at the same time, the magnetic field distribution in the space will be changed with the different time. Unfortunately, we know little about these magnets and need research more in theory. Thus, it is very significant to study this subject. Transient electromagnetic simulations, which can achieve the working state at any time, is a effective mathod,and how to make better use of it needs research and emploration. In this program, in order to the physical relation of the power supply and the inductance of the rapid cycling excited magnets,the basic theory of these magnets are analyzed.
