中文摘要: 提出一种研究石墨烯和碳纳米管弹性性质的新的理论模型,揭示不同手性、不同半径碳纳米管中C-C-C键角的变化规律,建立碳纳米管弹性性质与其C-C-C键角的内在关联,实现石墨烯和碳纳米管弹性性质的理论预测,阐释碳纳米管具有弹性模量尺度效应的内在机理,为采用复合材料力学方法研究碳纳米管的力学性能奠定重要基础;提出将碳纳米管尺度效应分为弹性模量尺度效应和应力(变形)尺度效应的新思路,对于石墨烯而言,由于其C-C-C夹角为常数,因此,只具有应力(变形)尺度效应,这将进一步完善非局部弹性理论研究石墨烯和碳纳米管尺度效应的理论基础;基于非局部弹性理论,研究石墨烯和碳纳米管的应力(变形)尺度效应,提出一种新的理论分析方法,实现对反应应力(变形)尺度效应的小尺度参数的理论预测,揭示应力(变形)小尺度参数的尺度依赖性及其变化规律,解决非局部弹性理论在微纳米力学尺度效应研究中存在的关键问题。

英文摘要: A new theoretical model will be presented to analyze the elastic moduli of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and grahpene sheets (GSs). The angles variations of carbon-carbon-carbon (C-C-C) bond with different chirality and radius of CNTs are revealed, and the intrinsic correlation between the elastic modulus of CNTs and their C-C-C bond angels will be established by this model. The elastic properties of GSs and CNTs are theoretically predicted, and the inner mechanism of why CNTs is of the scale effect on elastic modulus will be explained clearly. The model provids an important foundation for the use of mechanics of composite materials on the mechanical properties of CNTs. A new approach will be developed to investigate the scale effect of CNTs, of which scale effect is divided into two parts:the scale effect in elastic modulus and the scale effect in stress (deformation). The GSs only have the scale effect in stress (deformation) because their C-C-C bond angels are constants. This new approach will further improve the theoretical foundation of the nonlocal elasticity in analysis of the scale effect of GSs and CNTs. Based on the theory of nonlocal elasticity, a new theoretical method will be presented to investigate the scale effect in stress of GSs and CNTs.
