中文摘要: 影响浮游植物分布和多度的环境因素及其效应是水生生态学的研究主题之一。大型调水工程中浮游植物群落组成及结构与水质状况密切相关,目前的研究多聚焦于引起水体富营养化的元素(如N、P等)的效应,相对忽视了金属离子在浮游植物群落组成中的作用及机制。然而,外源输入或侵蚀性溶解导致水体硬度逐渐增大,是许多内陆淡水水库不容忽视的胁迫。瀛湖是南水北调工程中一个重要的水源地水库,本项目拟采用培养法,研究瀛湖浮游植物的群落组成对钙离子浓度变化的响应,并剖析浮游植物种间竞争力、重要生理特征沿钙离子浓度梯度的变化,以期揭示淡水生态系统藻类生产者的生长与群落组成对钙离子浓度变化的响应规律,以及在这些响应中,浮游植物的种间竞争力和生理耐受性的相对重要性,进而阐明钙离子效应的机制。同时,由于钙离子和浮游植物群落组成分别是水硬化和水华形成的主要原因,因此本项目将为南水北调工程水硬化和水华的预警、防控等水质问题的管理提供依据

英文摘要: Effect of environmental factors on phytoplankton distribution and abundance is one of the main topics in aquatic ecology. Previous researches usually focused on the effects of nitrogen and phosphorus on water eutrophication, but few studied the effects of mineralized ions. The variation of mineralized ion (Ca2+) in water is potential stresses of freshwater reservoir. This project aims to study the effects of partial mineralized ions concentration in water on the phytoplankton community structure in Yinghu—the biggest reservoir of South-to-North Water Diversionin Project in the upperstream of Hanjiang,to analyze the variation of competitive abilities and physiological traits (osmotic potential, photosynthetic activity, respiratory enzyme activity, antioxidant enzymes activity) of phytoplankton species along ions gradients, to illustrate the responses of algae producers in freshwater ecosystems to water mineralization and the underlying mechanisms, and to reveal the relative importance of interspecific competitive abilities and physiological tolerance in structuring freshwater phytoplankton community under the stresses. Due to the significant effects of phytoplankton community on water quality, this project can provide guidance to water quality management in South-to-North Water Diversionin Project, to prediction and control of algal bloom.
