中文摘要: 高强度聚焦超声(High intensity focused ultrasound: HIFU)在肿瘤治疗中有越来越广泛的应用,有关超声图像的分析和理解成为一个研究热点。为了提高疗效,需要通过对超声图像进行处理,并将其与其它模态的图像配准,达到对靶区和周边敏感组织准确定位的目的。本课题拟开展HIFU治疗中医学图像处理方法研究,着重解决以下几个方面的问题:(1) 研究超声图像和核磁共振图像的快速、精确分割方法;(2) 研究基于压缩感知的三维超声图像重建方法;(3) 研究超声图像与核磁共振图像的配准。

英文摘要: High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is used more and more as a clinical routine to treat the tumor, especially to prostate cancer. To ensure the treatment quality, the physicians have to maximize their action onto the target and minimize their effect to the surrounding sensitive tissues. To solve this problem, the target and the other sensitive organs must be delineated precisely. In current HIFU, this task is still manually achieved by the physicians or the radiophysicists. The purpose of this project is to provide a way that can help the physician to accomplish this task. To achieve this goal, we will focus our attention on the following subjects: (1) the fast and accurate segmentation of prostate in both ultrasound image and magnetic resonance imaging; (2) the reconstruction of three-dimensional ultrasound image based on the compressed sensing theory; (3) the registration of ultrasound image and magnetic resonance imaging.
