中文摘要: 最新研究表明,北冰洋中心区夏季融冰期间为大气甲烷(CH4)的一个重要源区,但对形成机理尚不清楚。本项目拟通过对北冰洋中心区的现场考察、实验研究和综合分析,了解北冰洋中心区夏季融冰期间水体中的CH4分布和气-海通量,阐明海冰/冰下水体/深水海域/深海沉积等不同生境的微生物群落及产甲烷菌的基础特性,分析微生物群落和产甲烷菌的环境适应性;结合水文、化学等基础参数,揭示CH4通量的形成机理和微生物群落在北冰洋中心区CH4通量中的作用,相关研究对进一步明晰北冰洋微生物群落特征及在海-气碳通量中的作用具有重要意义。

英文摘要: Recent studies show that Arctic Ocean become an important CH4 source during the sea ice melting season, however, the mechanism is unknown up to now. This study is based on in situ invesitigation, experiment and analysis, to acquire the CH4 concentration profiles and air-ocean CH4 flux in the central Arctic Ocean during sea ice melting season, to clarify the characteristics of microbial community and methanogenic bacteria in different habitants such as sea ice, underlying water column and sediment, and to analyze the environmental adaptation capability of microbial community and methanogenic bacteria. Combined with the oceanographic and marine chemical data, this study is hoped to reveal the mechanism of CH4 flux and the role of microbial community on the CH4 flux in the central Arctic Ocean during summer. The study is helpful to understand the bacterial community in the Arctic Ocean and its role on the carbon flux between air and ocean.
