中文摘要: 会合(rendezvous)是认知无线电网络中一项基本且必须的操作,它指的是网络中两个认知无线电在同一时间访问相同的可用信道,进而建立链路连接为后续的数据传输做好准备。受限于动态频谱访问,各认知无线电的可用信道不但动态变化而且不尽相同,这给它们的会合带来挑战。无须借助于控制中心和公共控制信道的会合算法,亦即盲会合(blind rendezvous)算法,是当前的研究热点。已有的盲会合算法通常只考虑同质信道,鲜有支持异质信道的盲会合算法。基于信道跳转技术,本项目研究满足不同通信模式需要的异质信道盲会合算法。拟实现的算法具有如下优点:1)无需时间同步要求、完全分布式的;2)支持不同类型的信道异质,包括一致评估异质以及差异评估异质;3)具有良好的时间性能保证,在各种情形下,认知无线电都可在有限时间内快速会合在质量高的信道上。本项目研究将为认知无线电网络的现实应用夯实必要的技术基础。

英文摘要: Rendezvous is a fundamental and indispensable operation in a cognitive radio network (CRN), which refers to the process that two cognitive radios (CRs)in the network operate over a commonly-available channel at the same time and thus establish a communication link between them for their subsequent data transmission. Subject to dynamic spectrum access, different CRs usually have dynamically-changing as well as different sets of available channels. Thus, it is very challenging for the CRs to achieve rendezvous. In the current research community, intensive attention has been paid to designing blind rendezvous algorithms, i.e., the rendezvous algorithms without using centralized controller or common control channel. However, almost all the existing blind rendezvous algorithms consider only homogeneous channels, and very few have been proposed to address heterogeneous channels. In this project, based on channel-hopping technique, we will devise several blind rendezvous algorithms which can address heterogeneous channels and accommodate different communication modes.
