The mangroves wetland of tropic/subtropic estuary usually have a high efficiency of trapping sediment, which not only enable its accretion rate keep pace with the sea level rising ,but also can affect the estuary hydrodynamic process and morphology significently. As a typical subtropic river, Nanliujiang river depouch into Lianzhouwan Gulf in Guangxi province of China. In the past decads, the natural mangoves swamp belt along river channel in estuay have vanished due to humanbeing destroying (mainly is shrink pool digging ), and only the mangroves locating on the tidal flat can survive. the vanish of up-river mangroves welands also means more sediments can be catched in the mangoves swamp on tidal flat , therefore, the the sedimentation and morphology mechanism of these mangroves wetland is an important aspect of estuary feedback to humanbing activities in subtropic estuary, about which we still know little and need more studies. In this study, we will collect and analysize the information of sedimentary, morphology and hydrodynamic of a mangove wetland system on the tidal flat in Nanliujiang River estuary.the target is to know more about its sedimentation and morphology evolving mechanism. Thus we can understand the estuary elvoving trend under influncing of humanbeing activities more deeply.
