中文摘要: 本项目中我们将探讨系外行星系统中类地行星和气态巨行星形成与演化。研究类地行星及气态巨行星的内部结构、大气组成、潮汐演化,探讨类地行星(包括超级地球)的形成机制及可能宜居区分布,揭示气态巨行星的气体吸积过程。在系外行星研究中,将从天文观测、数值模拟和理论分析等方面系统研究其形成和演化,解释系外行星的分布特征和规律。针对热巨行星所对应的物理环境和演化途径,修正相关分析模型,把数值模拟结果和巨行星的观测分布特征进行比较分析,探索大量系外热巨行星形成机制。通过研究行星系统的潮汐演化过程,进而分析潮汐效应对其动力学演化的影响。同时,我们还将对系外行星系统开展巡天观测和研究。通过本项目实施,力争做出有原始性创新的工作,并使我们在系外行星形成与演化等方面的研究在国际上具有重要的显示度。

英文摘要: In this proposal, we will investigate formation and evolution of terrestrial planets and gas-giants in exoplanetary systems, mainly focusing on internal structure, atmospheric composition, tidal evolution of the terrestrial planets and gas-giants, further unveil the formation mechanism of the habitable planets (or super-Earths) and their distribution, and then elucidate the process that the gas-giants accrete surrounding gas. In addition, we will make a study of formation and evolution of the planets from a viewpoint of observation, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis, to explain their characteristic distribution . Moreover, physical environment and evolution pathways of hot gas-giants will be explored in detail. We will then make amendments to current model on population synthesis, subsequently compare simulation results with the observed sample in order to obtain a better understanding of their distribution. Again, we will work on the planetary tidal evolution to investigate the case that tidal interactions influence the orbits. At the same time, follow-up surveys on the exoplanets will be carried out to detect additional transit candidates. Through the implement of this program, primitive and innovative results are expected to be achieved, which may promote our research to take an important place
