中文摘要: 含碳气溶胶中的黑碳(BC)和棕碳(BrC)之和,是全球气溶胶最大的吸收体,对气候变化有着重要影响,至今其混合态及其光学特性还存在很大争议。本项目拟应用我们发展的新型气溶胶光谱测量方法,结合气溶胶激光飞行时间质谱(ATOFMS)和挥发性串联式差分迁移率分析系统(V-TDMA),开展BrC、BC 混合态的吸收和散射光谱特性的研究,获得其变化规律。通过实验室研究,典型外场测量以及光学模型的建立,对其演化过程及其光谱特性与气溶胶粒谱分布、成分、混合态、吸湿特性之间的关系进行研究,进一步提高对BC和BrC光学特性的认识,从而减小其对全球变化影响科学问题认知的不确定性。

英文摘要: The sum of black carbon (BC) aerosol and the brown carbon (BC) aerosol, represents one of the largest pools of absorbing aerosol globally, which has a strong effect on global and regional climate. The mixing state and its optical properties are far from being well understood. In this proposal, the mixing state and the spectral absorption and scattering properties of BC and BrC will be studied by combining our novel aerosol spectral measurement system, the aerosol laser time-of-flight mass spectrometer (ATOFMS), and a volatility Tandem differential mobility analyzer (V-TDMA). The changes of aerosol optical properties caused by the microphysical properties will be studied. The relationship between the aerosol optical properties and aerosol size distributions, composition, mixing state, the hygroscopicity properties will be studied in detailed with the laboratory study, field measurement, and optical model research. By performing this research, we hope that we can extend our knowledge of our understanding of the global and regional climate changes.
