中文摘要: 互联网已是当今社会各项活动所不可缺少的重要平台。但是由于特殊地理环境和用户群体的限制,互联网服务在占地球面积71%多的海洋中还没有得到充分的普及和应用,严重影响到海洋经济的发展。现在海洋互联网服务主要通过卫星网络提供,不但价格贵且传输速率低,也无法有效支持水下通信,需要研究如何结合其它网络技术来形成一个更有效的海洋互联网服务系统。但是目前国内外在海洋互联网技术的系统性研究方面相对滞后。所以本项目将(1)通过计算机仿真等手段着重探索海洋互联网的开放式网络架构和相应的协议体系及网络安全结构,使其能有效地融合其它网络技术,并能根据网络环境的现状和变化及用户业务需求来实时地选择适当的网络技术,更有效安全地提供性价比高的海洋互联网服务;(2)将在此基础上,结合数学分析来进一步研究影响基于该网络架构的海洋互联网的连通性能和服务性价比的关键因素及网络容量模型,力争为海洋互联网的进一步发展提供理论支持。

英文摘要: Today, the terrestrial Internet is an essential platform for almost every social activity. However, the internet service has not yet been popular and extensively applied in the ocean which occupies about 71% the earth surface, which severely hinders the development of marine economy. Currently, the marine Internet is mainly provided by satellite networks, which are expensive with low transmission rate and unable to efficiently support underwater communication. Therefore, it is necessary to jointly apply other networking technologies to form a more efficient Internet service provisioning method. However, so far there is few systematical research on the marine Internet technologies. Therefore, first this project will aim at study of an open network architecture,protocol reference model and network security structure for the marine Internet through computer simulation. This network architecture can enable the marine Internet to carry out adaptive on-time selection and automatic adjustment of networking technologies according to networking environments and traffic characteristics for more efficient provisioning of marine Internet services. Second, based on mathematical analysis,this project will also address the following issue: network connectivity and service cost model as well as the network capacity modelling for the marine Internet based on the proposed open network strcuture. The research result of this project is expected to be a part of fundamental theory for the further development of the marine Internet.
