中文摘要: 液滴热毛细迁移是微重力流体物理研究的一个重要方向。开展热毛细迁移的研究不仅对载人航天特别是长期宇宙航行有利,而且对地面较小尺度的多相流研究具有一定的指导意义。大Marangoni(Ma)数下的液滴迁移一直是此领域的重点和难点,在实验上完全到达稳定迁移速度需要特别长的物理距离,数值上则意味着极高的分辨率和超长的计算区域,因此有许多相关的物理机制到现在也不是很清楚。多液滴的迁移和相互作用则是前人较少涉及的领域,较大参数范围或者较多液滴的迁移规律的研究到现在几乎是个空白。本项目计划对大Ma和多液滴的热毛细迁移进行研究,力争发现其中的某些规律性现象,力争取得关于与此问题相关的物理机制、数值计算模型的新进展,给上天和地面相关实验提供参考。

英文摘要: The studies of drop themocapillary migration are very important in the microgravity research on fluid mechanics. These researches become increasingly important in promoting manned space explorations, particularly those long-term ones, and guiding small-scale multiphase flow on the ground. It has long been the focus and difficulty of this field to study drop themocapillary migration with large Marangoni numbers. In large Ma experiments, an unusually long physical distance is required for drops to reach their steady migrating velocities; in large Ma numerical studies, it is a must to adopt an extremely high resolution and very long computing domain. Hence, many relevant physical mechanisms behind still remain unclear. In the meantime, there have been few studies on multi-drop migration on wider range physical parameters. This research project will focus on large-Ma and multi-drop migration, and try to find some regular phenomena, and to obtain some novel physical mechanisms as well as new computing schemes and parallel strategies of it. We will also take into account the actual needs of manned space flights and try to provide valuable advice for space experiments.
