中文摘要: 纳米金属颗粒能在一定光谱范围内产生表面等离子谐振(SPR)效应,因此纳米金属颗粒复合材料在非线性光学、稀土荧光增强、生物探测、医疗等领域具有广泛的应用前景。本项目提出了一种将纳米金属颗粒引入铋酸盐玻璃中的方法,并利用该玻璃体系自身的高线性折射率使纳米金属颗粒的SPR光谱覆盖区向长波方向移动,实现材料在近红外光通信波段光学性能(特别是三阶非线性)的SPR增强。本项目拟通过铋酸盐玻璃在熔融退火过程中自身的热化学还原效应,实现高光学品质纳米金属颗粒复合玻璃材料的制备,旨在掌握纳米金属颗粒在铋酸盐玻璃中还原效应的机理,实现其在玻璃中的可控生长。本项目最终将获得SPR光谱区能够覆盖光通信波段的新型纳米金属颗粒复合玻璃材料,为今后开发基于纳米复合材料的光器件奠定相关科学工作基础。

英文摘要: Metal nanoparticles exhibit surface plasmonic resonance (SPR) in certain spectral region, making them have great research and application potentials in the fields of nonlinear optics, enhancement of rear-earth luminescence, bioprobe, medical et al. In this project, a method that introducing metal nanoparitlces to bismuthate glasses which could red-shift the SPR coverage to longer wavelengths by the high linear refractive index of the host medium to realize the enhancement of optical properties, especially third-order optical nonlinearities in infrared region,communication band is proposed. The material preparation in present project takes advantage of the thermal reduction effect of bismuthate glass, which is considered as an new method that could obtain high quality bulk metal nanoparticles glass composites by a single-step melt and anneal procedure. In this project, the main aims are to obtain a thorough understanding of thermal reduction effect of bismuthate glass, and design and optimize the preparation method from such basic research.
