中文摘要: 玉米是我国第一大粮食作物,但是耐盐能力较差。在盐碱地面积不断扩大的今天,提高玉米耐盐性对保障我国粮食安全具有重要的意义。本小组前期研究中从200余份玉米骨干自交系里筛选出两个耐盐性差异极为明显的自交系(耐盐自交系F和感盐自交系P)。以这两个材料为基础,申请本项目,拟在水培体系中,通过比较分析盐害对这两个自交系的生物量、K+/Na+含量比、脯氨酸含量和SOD活性等的影响及差异,来理解玉米耐盐的生理学机制;进而,利用蛋白质组学技术分析盐害对这两个自交系蛋白表达的影响及差异,来探讨玉米耐盐的分子机制;最后利用这两个材料进行耐盐主效QTL定位,并开发耐盐相关连锁标记。通过以上研究,一方面为理解玉米耐盐机制提供新的思路,另一方面为玉米耐盐育种提供新的分子标记。

英文摘要: Maize is one of the most important crops in China. It is very sensitive to salinity. Therefore, enhancing maize salt tolerance is crucial for maize productivity. We have in the past two years screened more than 200 maize inbred lines and found 2 lines that showed significant difference in salt tolerance. Some results were obtained in hydroponics under 160mM NaCl treated condition. The objectives of this study are to 1)study the physiological differences between the two inbred lines in terms of their biomass, the ratio of K+/Na+ concentration, proline content, SOD activity, etc.; 2)study salt-induced proteins by iTRAQ; and 3)map the major salt-tolerant QTLs using RIL(F2:6) and NIL(BC3F4) populations. Our results would shed new light on the mechanisms of maize salt tolerance at both physiological and proteomic levels. And the tightly linked molecular markers we developed would be benificial to marker-assisted selection and maize breeding.
