中文摘要: 有机发光器件(OLED)具有全固态、自主发光、低电压驱动、高亮度、响应快、可柔性等诸多优点,在新型平板显示及固态照明领域有巨大的商业应用前景。开展OLED器件相关界面的基础研究、理解其界面过程对提高器件性能、阐明器件失效机理和进一步提高器件发光寿命是至关重要的,特别是理解OLED器件在服役条件下界面产生的物理、化学机制,是目前OLED器件研究取得突破性进展的当务之急。但是目前表、界面的表征方法都无法得到真实器件中的材料、界面信息,特别是器件在服役条件下的材料、界面的实时信息,这大大阻碍了OLED器件的应用发展。在此项目中,我们将利用基于同步辐射光源的光进光出表征技术,建立对OLED真实器件中界面的原位、实时的研究方法,特别是可以在器件服役条件下的表征方法,通过研究OLED真实器件中界面材料的电子结构及其在服役条件下的变化,阐明OLED器件的界面作用与功能、器件的发光机制和失效机理。

英文摘要: Organic light-emitting diodes ( OLEDs ) have stridden forward to commercialization in their application fields, such as flat panel display and solid state lighting, due to their good features of high brightness, quick response, large viewing angle, simple manufacture process, and flexibility, etc. However, much effort is still needed to further optimize the performance and to increase the operational stability of the devices. Understanding the interface processes in OLED devices is critical for their further advance in performance. Surface and interface analytical studies can generate critical insight of the fundamental processes at interfaces involving OLEDs, especially the in-situ and real time interface analytical study for the genuine devices. In this proposal, we will develop an in-situ real time method based on synchrotron radiation photo-in and photo out technique to study the interfaces in the genuine OLED devices, especially under the working conditions and elucidate the interfaces structure and function, luminescence and failure mechanisms of OLED devices.
