中文摘要: 先进核能的发展对结构材料提出了更高的要求。先进碳化物陶瓷因耐高温、耐腐蚀、热导率高、中子吸收截面小等特性,在核能领域受到越来越多的关注。其中,碳化硅(SiC)、碳化锆(ZrC)和纳米层状可加工陶瓷(Ti3SiC2为代表)是三种综合性能最为优异的典型碳化物陶瓷。本项目以典型碳化物陶瓷ZrC和Ti3SiC2为主要研究对象,以SiC作为参比对象,利用中子对样品进行辐照,研究材料中子辐照后的微观结构和力学性能,据此对比三种典型碳化物陶瓷抗中子辐照容忍性的差异及其内在机制。这项研究的开展,可为耐高温、耐辐照、耐腐蚀的关键结构陶瓷的设计、筛选提供基础的实验和理论数据,具有重要的科研价值和潜在应用价值。

英文摘要: The development of advanced nuclear energy requires better performance for structural materials. The advanced carbide ceramics attract more and more attention in the field of nuclear energy because of varieties of salient properties, such as high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, small neutron absorption cross-section, etc. Among them, silicon carbide (SiC), zirconium carbide (ZrC), and nano-layered machinable ceramics (Ti3SiC2 represented) are three typical carbides with good comprehensive performance. This project will investigate the neutron irradiation effect on microstructure and mechanical properties of typical carbide ceramics ZrC and Ti3SiC2 as well as SiC (as a reference). The obtained results can be used to compare the anti-neutron irradiation tolerance of these three typical carbides and explore the corresponding mechanism. This study will provide the valuable experimental and theoretical basis for designing and screening of key structural ceramics with good resistance to high-temperature, radiation and corrosion circumstance.
