中文摘要: 协议序列是一种确定性的二进制周期序列,起源于无反馈冲突信道,是信息理论及应用数学的重要研究方向。它通过自身特殊的互相关性质,在保障数据发送成功率的同时,避免节点对信道进行侦听,从而提高传感器网络中的重要指标:能量效率。本项目将研究协议序列广义结构理论,通过建立通用的分析方法系统全面地揭示序列周期、码重、序列数、同时激活序列数、最小吞吐率以及信道异步状态之间的内在关系,解决具有特殊相关性质的编码理论中的若干问题;其次以结构理论为设计依据,运用组合数学、数论等方法研究码重可调的序列构造方法,使其具有更佳的周期和互相关性能的同时能应用于不同的网络需求;最后研究最小吞吐率为0的协议序列分别在无反馈信道冲突分解技术和节点状态检测技术中的应用,包括其周期下限及构造方法。本项目通过研究方法上的创新,对当前协议序列理论进行突破和完善,具有重要的研究意义。

英文摘要: Protocol sequence, a deterministic periodic binary sequence, originated from Massey's model on collision channels without feedback. It is an important research area in information coding and applied mathematics. Depending on its special cross-correlation property, protocol sequence can yield a high successful packet transmitting probability without monitoring the channel for feedback information and thus can improve the energy efficiency, which is important in wireless sensor networks. In this project, we will study the structural theory, to investigate the relation among period, weight, sequence number, the worst-case throughput and different channel synchronization, without any limit on their values. Then construction methods will be studied for designing variable-weight sequences of better performance to support different application. Finally we will explore the protocol sequence with zero worst-case throughput, which can be used in collision resolution and user detection for the collision channel without feedback.The reseach method and technique in this project is novel and thus can significantly improve the current results on protocol sequences.
