中文摘要: 降低信号峰均功率比(PAPR)有利于降低多载波通信系统的功耗、控制通信系统的成本,对于宽带无线通信和绿色通信技术的发展具有十分重要意义。然而,如何设计一种编码,使其既具有接近香农极限的纠错性能,又具有有效抑制PAPR的能力,这一问题仍未被解决。本项目提出了一种新类型的LDPC码用于降低多载波通信信号PAPR:可翻转子集LDPC码(NS-LDPC码)。NS-LDPC码的编码比特中具有多个不相交的可翻转子集。NS-LDPC码通过LDPC码实现纠错,通过对可翻转子集的翻转操作实现PAPR抑制。该方法具有接近香农极限的纠错性能,同时能有效降低多载波信号PAPR。本项目拟研究NS-LDPC码随机构造方法、结构化构造方法、纠错性能和多载波信号PAPR抑制性能。本项目的目标是建立NS-LDPC码的构造方法,并论证NS-LDPC码降低多载波信号PAPR的有效性和性能优势。

英文摘要: Reduction of Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of multi-carrier signals, which lowers the power consumption and cost of communication systems, is very essential for wideband wireless communications and green communications. However, design of near Shannon limit and low PAPR code for multi-carrier communications is still an open problem. A novel type of LDPC codes for the PAPR reduction of multi-carrier signals is proposed in this proposal, which is called as Negatable Subset LDPC (NS-LDPC). An NS-LDPC code has multiple disjoint negatable subsets of coded bits. With an NS-LDPC code, error correcting is achieved by the LDPC code and PAPR reduction of multi-carrier signals is achieved by negating the selected negatable subsets. The proposed NS-LDPC code can achieve near Shannon limit error correcting performance and significant PAPR reduction performance at the same time. We propose to study the random and structured construction, error correcting performance and PAPR reduction performance of NS-LDPC codes. The aim of the project is to obtain the construction method and demonstrate the effectiveness and performance of the proposed NS-LDPC codes.
