中文摘要: 高效率蓝色有机电致磷光器件(PHOLEDs)是实现高效率有机白光照明和有机全彩色显示的关键,目前蓝色PHOLEDs的性能远不如红色和绿色PHOLEDs。为提高蓝色PHOLEDs的性能,特别是器件在电流较大、亮度较高时的发光效率,本课题拟设计、研制新型高效双发光层蓝色PHOLEDs,深入系统地研究其中的载流子和激子过程,采用典型蓝色磷光材料(Firpic)同时掺杂到空穴传输材料和电子传输材料中构成双发光层,与现有器件结构不同的是,本课题创新地变化Firpic在双发光层中的掺杂浓度和区域,调控载流子在双发光层的注入、传输、复合以及激子产生、扩散、分布,在电流较大、亮度较高时维持双发光层中载流子平衡,展宽激子产生区域,减少激子淬灭、抑制发光衰减。同时研究载流子、激子过程对器件内在失效机理的影响,深入理解器件工作机理和内在失效机理,研制新型高效稳定的蓝色PHOLEDs。

英文摘要: High-efficiency blue PHOLEDs are key for the realization of organic full-color displays and solid state lighting, however, the performance of the blue PHOLEDs is inferior to that of green and red PHOLEDs. To improve the performance of the blue PHOLEDs, especially the efficiency of the devices at higher current density and luminance, we propose a novel blue PHOLED structure with double emitting layers, consisting of both Firpic doped hole transport layer and electron tansport layers,simutaneously. In particular, we will vary doping profile and concentration of the Firpic to tune the carrier injection, transport, and recombination/ exciton generation, diffusion, and distribution, in the double emitting layers. We will maintain the carrier balance,widen the exciton generation region, and reduce exciton quench in the double emitting layers at higher current density and luminance. At same time, we will investigate the influence of the carrier and exciton processes on the intrinsic degradation mechanisms in the blue PHOLEDs to further understand the working mechanisms and intrinsic degradation mechanisms in the devices and provide new direction for design and fabrication of the novel, high-efficiency, and stable blue PHOLEDs.
