中文摘要: 将数据挖掘技术应用于商务智能时,面临的关键挑战之一是使挖掘出的模式具有可操作性,使得用户可直接基于其采取行动以获益。在多种可操作知识中,我们提出的可操作行为规则因能直接明确地向用户建议行动以积极影响其关心实体的行为而占有重要而独特的地位。本项目将在我们前期工作的基础上,致力于解决可操作行为规则挖掘仍然面临的模型精确性、算法有效性等许多重要挑战。具体地,本项目将研究条件属性间的因果关系对规则期望效用的影响,建立精确的规则期望效用的非线性计算模型;研究行为样本对规则支持强度的非一致性,建立精确的规则支持度的数学模型;采用智能计算等方法,设计高效的候选规则搜索策略;研究规则冲突的产生机理,设计有效的规则冲突消解策略;拓展研究成果在商务智能领域的新应用并实验验证其有效性。本项目将显著提高可操作行为规则挖掘模型与算法的质量,促使其成为一种成熟的可操作知识发现新技术与数据驱动行为建模新技术。

英文摘要: In deploying data mining techniques into business intelligence, we have faced the crucial need to make the identified patterns actionable. Actionable knowledge is such knowledge based on which users can directly take actions for their interest. Among the most important and distinctive actionable knowledge is actionable behavioral rules that can directly and explicitly suggest specific actions to take to positively influence the behavior of the entities which concern users. Based on our previous work, this project will resolve many big challenges still in mining actionable behavioral rules, such as precise modeling and developing effective algorithms. Firstly, this project will study the impact of the causality between conditional attributes on expected utilities of rules and establish precise non-linear computing model for expected utility of rules. Secondly, this project will study different intensions of supports of behavior samples on rules and establish precise mathematical model for support of rules. Thirdly, this project will develop efficient search strategies for candidate rules using various methods, such as intelligent computing, distributed computing, etc. Fourthly, this project will study the generating mechanism of conflicting in rules and develop effective resolution strategies for conflicting rules. Finally, this project will create new applications and experimentally validate the proposed models and algorithms in business intelligence domain. In summary, this project will promote actionable behavioral rules mining as a mature new technique of actionable knowledge discovery and data-driven behavioral modeling by significantly improving the quality of its models and the performance of its algorithms.
