中文摘要: 光转换材料是发展白光LED(w-LED)的主要材料,目前用的白光转换材料均由蓝、绿、黄、红等单色荧光粉混合而成; 由于单色荧光粉混合物间存在老化速率不同、配比调控、能量损耗等问题,导致白光LED的流明效率、色彩还原性及寿命受到较大影响,且成本较高。基于此,本课题选择具有高稳定性的碱土复合氧化物为基质材料,以部分稀土离子(如Eu2+ 、Ce3+)和过渡金属离子为激活剂来设计白光LED用的单一多色荧光材料;与此同时也研究了一些以碱土复合氧化物为基质、发光性能较好的LED用单色荧光粉。通过采用溶胶凝胶法合成出颗粒小而均匀的荧光粉,研究了其发光机理,实现了对其发射波长和发光强度有效调控及发光效率的提高,并对其发光性能与稳定性进行研究得到了性能良好的与短波长紫光及近紫外光(340nm-410nm)LED相匹配的低成本单一多色荧光粉。

英文摘要: Phosphor is one of the most important materials to develop white light-emitting diodes (W-LEDs). Presently, most of the phosphors used in the W-LEDs are the mixture of blue, green, yellow or red phosphor. However, the luminous efficiency of the W-LEDs by combining a near-UV LED and the phosphor mixture is low due to the re-absorption between the different phosphors. Moreover, different aging rate of tricolor phosphors and the high manufacturing cost also affect the lifetime and application of W-LEDs. Based on above consideration, it is an excellent option for enhancing luminous efficiency and reproducibility of W-LEDs by developing a single-phased multi-color-emitting phosphor. In this project, we designed a class of phosphors based on the alkaline earth complex oxide and doped with rare earth ions and transitional metals. The phosphors are prepared by sol-gel and solid state method, in order to obtain a phosphor with small size, regular shape and narrow size distribution. The mechanism of the multi-color emitting phosphors has be investigated in detail in order to tune their emission intensities, emission wavelength and luminous efficiency.In addition, tricolor emietting phosphors with excellent properties have also been investigated. The stability of the phosphor has also been studied on account of its effect on the lifetime of W-LEDs. Therefore, a series of multi-color-emitting phosphors based on alkaline earth complex oxides with high luminous efficiency, low cost, high stability and strong absorption in near-UV region have been obtained.
