中文摘要: 本项目拟对猴子"伸-抓"运动过程中背侧运动前区神经集群的编码规律进行研究。构建猕猴上肢"伸-抓"训练系统,采用多通道微电极阵列记录猕猴背侧运动前区的神经元锋电位和局部场电位信号;应用行为图像和神经电信号的同步系统,结合神经集群信号的分析方法,对上肢"伸-抓"动作进行序列化分解和定量化分析;研究猕猴在执行精细的"伸-抓"任务时背侧运动前区神经集群发放模式的变化,解析背侧运动前区两种神经信号对多"伸-抓"运动在计划和执行等阶段的表征规律。通过本项目的研究,可揭示背侧运动前区与肢体"伸-抓"运动之间的相关性,为基于运动神经编码的植入脑机接口技术提供理论基础。

英文摘要: This project is to research the encoding mechanism of monkey reach and grasp in dorsal premotor cortex (PMd). Firstly, the limb and hand reach and grasp training system will be constructed. Secondly, the 96-channel Utah array will be implanted in the PMd cortex to record the spike and local field potential signals. The neural ensemble signals in PMd and the movement event signals will be recorded synchronously. And the video data of reach and grasp is recorded at the same time. The whole process of reach and grasp is divided into sub movement sequence. This project will research the fire pattern variation during monkey do the reach and grasp task. The function of PMd cortex in the planning and executive of hand movement will be studied. So, the relationship between PMd neural firing and reach-and-grasp movement will be revealed. At last, the feature information of neural signal in PMd cortex will be used to decode the limb and hand movement parameter. The result of this study will support the theory for brain machine interface implementation.
