中文摘要: 本项目创新性地将金属有机骨架材料(MOFs)引入二次电池体系。在锂离子电池体系中:1)选择含有变价金属的MOFs材料作为电极,可以通过变价金属位点发生氧化还原反应以完成充放电过程,且其孔道可供锂离子嵌入、嵌出;2)MOFs作为模板来合成金属氧化物纳米材料及其复合结构,简单易行且可以使结构更加规整、均一;3)MOFs包覆在纳米结构上所得到的NP/NR@MOF(NP: nanoparticle; NR: nanorod)结构性质稳定,减少了纳米粒子的迁移和聚集,保持了纳米颗粒的稳定性和化学活性,且可以缓解金属氧化物充放电过程体积变化,改善电池性能。在锂空电池体系中,结合我们已发表的将MOFs作为锂空电池的电催化剂以提升容量的研究成果,我们将继续将更多种类的MOFs,特别是多孔稳定的沸石咪唑酯骨架结构材料(ZIFs)作为电催化剂引入到锂空电池体系,以期使锂空电池的容量和稳定性得到大范围提高。

英文摘要: Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a new type of porous solid materials, which are featured as simple and reproducible synthesis, controllable structure, adjustable function, and high stability. In this project, we innovatively introduce MOFs to the secondary battery system (lithium-ion batteries and lithium air batteries). In lithium-ion batteries: 1) The MOFs with variable valence metal ions can be used as the electrode materials, in which the lithium insertion/extraction process can be triggered by the redox reaction and the available porous channels promote the transport of ions; 2) MOFs can be used as a template for the synthesis of metal oxide nanomaterials with uniform structure, which are highly desired for lithium-ion batteries; 3) MOFs coated on nanostructures to form NP/NR@MOF composites can not only reduce the migration and aggregation of nanoparticles, but also maintain the chemical stability and activity of nanoparticles, as well as buffer the volume change during the charge/discharge process. In lithium-air batteries: based on our previous results, we will continuously develop more active MOFs, especially zeolitic imidazolate frameworkds (ZIFs) as electro-catalyst for lithium-air batteries, in order to improve the capacity and stability.
