中文摘要: 星载波模式SAR海浪产品是目前唯一的全球涌浪方向谱遥感数据源。针对该产品的误差分析和验证,现有的检验模型与方法难以开展系统精确的产品误差分析,从而制约了其业务应用。本项目拟基于涌浪传播与追踪理论,并引入最新的变量含误差模型 (errors-in-variables,EIV),提出一种新的波模式SAR涌浪方向谱误差分析模型与方法——涌浪动态时空匹配EIV误差分析模型。与传统方法模型相比,应用本项目提出的新方法,将能有效增加星地匹配样本量,并在同时考虑SAR产品误差、观测数据误差、海浪模式误差的情况下,更精确地对Envisat ASAR和新发射的Sentinel-1A的波模式SAR涌浪谱产品,进行误差时空结构特征分析、误差敏感性因子分析等研究。本项目的实施,将进一步推动SAR海浪反演算法改进,为SAR海浪遥感业务应用提供支撑,也将有力支撑我国即将发射的HY-3卫星波模式SAR的在轨定标检验。

英文摘要: Spaceborne SAR operating in wave mode provides the unique directional ocean swell spectra dataset with a global coverage so far. However, the classical validation approaches and models, are unable to yield a precise error analysis on these remote sensed swell spectral products, constraining the operational application on these unique dataset. To deal with this problem, in this project, the dynamic collocated EIV (errors-in-variables) methodology and model will be proposed and applied to spaceborne SAR wave mode swell products, based on swell propagation and tracking theory, and introducing the EIV error model. Employing this new technique, for the wave mode data from Envisat ASAR and recently launched Sentinel-1A, we will produce more match-ups than the traditional method, and therefore carry out the spatial and temporal error analysis, error sensitivity analysis for the wave mode SAR ocean swell spectra more precisely, since the novel model could assure that the errors from satellite, buoy and wave model will be taken into the consideration. The project will promote the improvement of spaceborne SAR ocean wave inversion algorithm, support the operational application of the spaceborne SAR wave mode dataset, and also support the calibration and validation activities for the wave mode SAR on the future Chinese mission of HY-3.
