中文摘要: 近年来,位置服务(LBS)得到了越来越广泛的应用。空间数据索引与查询作为LBS的技术基础,从根本上决定了LBS所能提供的服务质量。而由于LBS具有数据海量化、服务实时化、结构复杂化等特点,传统技术在处理规模、响应时间和适应特殊需求等方面受到了巨大挑战。为了应对这种挑战,本课题拟结合云计算环境,利用其超大规模、按需服务和高可伸缩性等特点,通过先分散后集中的方式将数据存储和查询处理离散化、并行化,以达到支持海量数据存储、及时可靠响应查询请求以及灵活适应复杂应用需求等目的。考虑到云环境的存储结构和计算方式与传统的单机存储结构和顺序处理方式本质上的不同,本课题拟重点研究基于云环境的空间数据索引方法,适应离散数据的并行空间基础查询算法以及面向复杂应用的空间约束适配模型,并在此基础上实现一个针对复杂空间的数据索引查询原型系统。本课题研究成果将为处理海量、实时、复杂空间数据的各种LBS应用提供有效支持。

英文摘要: In recent years, the Location Based Service(LBS) has been widely used in many scenarios. As a base technology of the LBS, spatial data indexing and querying fundamentally determines the quality of LBS. However, several features of the LBS, such as the mass data, real time service, complex structure, make great challenges to traditional processing techniques. To meet the challenges, we plan to incorporate the Cloud Computing techniques, adopting its large scale, service on demand and scalability features, to index and query spatial data by scatter-centralize pattern. In this way, we can support massive data storage, real-time query processing and adapt to complex application. By considering the difference between cloud computing and traditional storage and sequential processing pattern, we aim to study i) cloud computing based spatial data indexing technique, ii) parallel spatial query technique and iii) spatial constrait adapting technique. Based on these techniques, we plan to implement a complex spatial data management system. The result of this study can provide effective support for LBS applications with massive, real-time and complex spatial data.
