中文摘要: 含有半结晶嵌段的共聚物在溶液中受结晶力的驱动可以自组装形成一维胶束,利用活性自组装技术以及一维自晶种技术可以精确调控所产生的一维胶束的长度以及结构,从而实现其功能化应用。本项目拟系统研究含有半结晶聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)的嵌段共聚物的溶液行为,包括其相分离和自组装过程,利用成熟的活性自组装和一维自晶种技术获得对PVDF嵌段共聚物自组装结构的控制。本项目从聚合物合成出发,采用活性聚合方法合成具有不同结构和组成的PVDF嵌段共聚物,通过改变共聚物的结构与组成,特别是PVDF结晶嵌段长度,以及高分子浓度、溶剂、温度等条件,首次系统研究其溶液相分离和结晶驱动自组装行为,并且最终获得对其自组装过程的控制以及其一维自组装结构和形貌的调控。本项目将扩展结晶驱动自组装的研究体系,同时获得对在工业上得到广泛应用的PVDF嵌段共聚物的溶液行为的基本认识,从而为PVDF嵌段共聚物及其胶束今后的功能化提供理论指导。

英文摘要: Driven by the crystallization force, block copolymers containing a semi-crystalline block are able to self-assemble to form one-dimensional micelles. One can use living self-assembly and one-dimensional self-seeding technology to precisely control the length and structure of the one-dimensional micelles that are formed by self-assembly, in order to optimize their performances in applications. In this project, we propose a systematic study on the solution behaviors of block copolymers containing a semi-crystalline poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) block, including their phase separation and self-assembly process, and further on the control of their self-assembled structures via well-established living self-assembly and one-dimensional self-seeding techniques.This project starts with the synthesis of the PVDF diblock coplymers with different structures and compositions by using living polymerization methods, followed by systematic investigation on their solution phase separation and self-assembly behaviors by manipulating the polymer structure and composition, especially the length of the semi-crystalline PVDF block, polymer concentration, solvent, temperature, etc. We anticipate to achieve the control of their self-assembly process, as well as the control over the structures and morphologies of the micelles. This study will be an important supplement to the crystallization-driven self-assembly field and is expected to gain fundamental understandings on the solution behaviors of PVDF block copolymers, which are widely used in industry, and therefore provide technical guidance for future applications of PVDF block copolymers and their self-assembled micelles.
