中文摘要: 前后和垂直方向的听觉定位是一种重要的听觉感知现象,是多种定位信息综合作用的结果。本项目拟采用心理声学实验和听觉模型分析相结合的方法,系统地研究不同信息对声源前后和垂直方向定位的相对贡献以及部分信息错误情况下的听觉定位问题,探讨相应的规律与机理,并用于解决虚拟听觉重放技术实际应用中所存在的问题,发展合理优化和简化的信号处理算法和模型。项目的研究对人类听觉定位机理的基础研究具有重要的意义,可为探讨高层神经系统的听觉信息处理机制和进一步建立听觉空间信息处理模型提供良好的基础,填补国内的研究空白;还可在虚拟听觉重放方面发展出具有自主知识产权的前沿技术,相应成果可广泛应用于虚拟听觉训练和导航、建筑声学辅助设计、多媒体技术、通信和虚拟现实等多个领域,具有较大的经济和社会效益。

英文摘要: Front-back and vertical localization is an important auditory perception phenomenon, and it results from the combination effect of multiple localization information. Using psychoacoustic experiments with a combination of auditory model analysis, this project plans to systematically investigate the relative contributions of different localization information to front-back and vertical localization as well as the localization with some information partially wrong. This project aims to achieve some localization rules and in-depth understanding of the front-back and vertical localization, based on which some reasonable optimization and simplification algorithms and models can be developed to resolve existing problems in the applications of virtual auditory displays. This work is of importance to the basic research of human localization mechanism, not only filling the blank of the domestic research but also laying the foundation for exploring the information processing mechanism of high-level neural system as well as constructing auditory information processing models. Moreover, this work allows developing some independent intellectual property rights at the forefront of virtual auditory display technology which can be applied to the virtual auditory training and navigation, aided design of architectural acoustics, multi-media technology, communication and virtual reality etc, yielding great economic and social benefits.
