中文摘要: 染料敏化太阳电池(DSC)通常采用碘/碘离子作为电解质中的氧化还原对。由于含碘电解质具有腐蚀性大、自身的颜色对入射光有过滤作用、易挥发等缺点,限制了这类太阳电池的大规模推广,同时也制约了这类太阳电池光电转换效率的提高。为了从理论和实践的源头上取得突破,发展具有自主知识产权的材料体系,提高我国在光电材料和器件研究领域的整体创新能力,本课题拟研制开发两类不含卤素的新型电解质并用于n型、p型DSC,或量子点敏化太阳电池(QDSC): 一类基于有机化合物氮杂噻吩硫/二硫化物氧化还原对,另一类基于金属钴配合物氧化还原对。用这些新型电解质和有机光敏染料、或量子点结合分别组装基于n型半导体(如TiO2)和基于p型半导体(如NiO)的DSC或QDSC。在此基础上,采用如下结构: n型半导体/n型染料(或量子点)/新型电解质/p型染料(或量子点)/p型半导体,尝试组装叠层太阳电池,争取大幅度提高转换效率。

英文摘要: Redox couple as one of the crucial components in dye-sensitized solar cells or quantum dots sensitized solar cells has been investigated for many years. Due to the several drawbacks of the past commonly used I?/I3? electrolyte, scientists have paid more attention on seeking other alternative electrolyte systems. Up to now, the best efficiency of iodine-free redox couple-based DSCs, 12.3 %, has been achieved by Co based redox couple under AM 1.5G, 100 mW?cm?2 light illumination and other redox couples also show the promising future in DSCs. This great achievement has shown the huge potential for further improvement of the performance of DSCs. In this proposal, we plan to systematically design and synthesize two series of iodine-free redox couples including pure organic redox couples and transition metal-complexes. Particular attention will paid to the energetically matching of the new redox couples with organic dyes or quantum dots in both n-type DSCs (based on nanostructured TiO2 for example) and p-type DSCs (based on nanostructured NiO for example).
