中文摘要: 环境中半胱氨酸等含硫氨基酸以及生物体内有机汞降解酶(MerB)的半胱氨酸残基对有机汞降解有重要作用,但目前还缺乏对实际环境条件下有机汞降解过程的研究。本项目将重点研究含硫氨基酸诱导甲基汞降解过程中,Fe3+等金属离子对该过程的增强作用机制。拟通过对甲基汞光化学降解过程实验室模拟以及实际环境体系中甲基汞光化学降解过程模拟,研究实际环境甲基汞光化学降解过程、降解动力学及环境因素的影响,阐明Fe3+等离子对甲基汞光化学降解的影响及作用机制;同时,通过构建模型化合物,模拟研究金属离子存在条件下含硫氨基酸巯基诱导的甲基汞降解行为以及金属离子对该过程的影响,并利用密度泛函理论计算Fe3+等金属离子在C-Hg键清除中的贡献及作用方式,揭示金属离子对甲基汞C-Hg键断裂或清除的作用与机理。项目实施将进一步加深人们对甲基汞生物地球化学循环的认识,为甲基汞污染治理和降低其对生物体及人类健康危害提供重要依据。

英文摘要: Sulfur-containing amino acids such as cysteine and glutathione in the environment, and cysteine residues of Organomercurial Lyase (MerB) in vivo play an important role in the degradation of methylmercury (MMHg). This study focus on the role and mechanism for enhancment of MMHg degradation by metal ions such as Fe3+. Given the lack of research on factors influencing the degradation of MMHg by amino acids, the environmental condition and dynamics of photochemical degradation of MMHg will be studied through simulating experiments. Furthermore, the role and mechanism of metal ions, especially Fe3+ and Cu2+ in the photochemical degradation of MMHg, will be clarified. Meanwhile, model compounds will be used to study the behavior of degradation and the role of metal ions in the process of MMHg degradation. Finally, Density Functional Theory will be used to explain how the metal ions influence the degradation of MMHg induced by sulfur-containing amino acids. According to the above work, the role and mechanism of metal ions on the MMHg degradation induced by sulfur-containing amino acids will be revealed. The conducing of this study is helpful for understaning the biogeochemistry of MMHg, and for the control of the MMHg pollution and the reduction of the hazards of MMHg to the humans and organisms.
